We arrived in Singapore at 12.40 pm and were met by a courier who took us to our hotel. The roads from the airport into the city had flowers lining the sides and on the bridges and part of the time there were trees which spread out over the whole of the dual carriageway.

After settling into the hotel in Singapore we went for a walk around the immediate area and saw a fountain shooting water and steaming.
