A shoal of bottle-nosed dolphins caught up with the whales and there was some interaction between the two groups. It is not known if this is play or whether the whales are trying to repel the dolphins.

We watched them for about 2 hours. When it was time to return we were taken to have a look at Bondi Beach and then came back.
