We took the A1/M1 back to Melbourne. We stopped at Colac where we bought KFC and eat it by Lake Colac.

We finally got back to the hotel at 11 pm.

We were slightly disappointed by the day. It was a very long way to get to the ocean and quite a lot of inland parts. However the coast from Anglesea to Cape Patton was spectacular and the final rocky outcrops were also wonderful but too much to do in one day.

Hot and sunny all day with a refreshing breeze.
