Today we went to the Huon Valley which is southwest of Hobart on the Huon River.

We drove through Huonville and at Geeveston we bought tickets for the Tahune Forest AirWalk and were given a map showing what to see on the way.

We were in the Tahune Forest Reserve which is a working forest and all the way along the road there were signs telling when the areas had been replanted. We stopped at Blue Gum Plantation which was planted in 1999 and will be harvested in 2025.
