We drove up to the Fox Glacier and walked out, following the markers, to the face. It was dirty but massive.

We arrived at the camp site at Franz Josef at 5 pm.

Possibly because of the glorious sunrise the day was not so good. We were in cloud for some of the time and we also had rain.
