We stopped at Punakaiki to look at the Pancake Rocks which were fascinating and the blow holes which were very noisy. These blow holes were caves on the water line of the rocks and the waves crashed into them and surged out. We could have spent a long time here but it was raining heavily so we went to the cafe and had coffee and cakes.
