We went to The Craters of the Moon, which is a strange area of relatively new origin. It only really came to life when the geo-thermal power station was built in the 1950's and hot water was pumped out, which caused the ground level to drop. A walkway went around the edge of the area and we could see why it was so called. There was also an area of boiling mud.
